Karnataka PDO GPS Recruitment: Good news to all the Students who are eagerly waiting for Karnataka state government jobs. Karnataka examination Authority (KEA) has released a notification on behalf of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department regarding Panchayat Development Officer (PDO) and Gram Panchayat Secretary (GPS).

The   Karnataka Panchayat Raj Department is eagerly waiting to fill in 1624 vacancies for the above said posts. Application form is available online from 16th September. The last date of submitting the online application form is by 15th October and the last date for the payment of fee is by 18th October. Karnataka is a state in south west India with Arabian Sea coastlines. The capital Bangalore is a high-tech hub known for its shopping and night life. Hampi, once the medieval Vijayanagara Empire’s capital contains ruins of Hindu temples, elephant stables and a stone chariot.

Karnataka panchayat Raj is a three-tier system in the state with elected bodies at the village, taluk and district levels. It ensures greater participation of people and more effective implementation of rural development programmes. There will be a Gram Panchayat for a village, a taluk level and the Zilla panchayat at the district level.

Student must be a Graduate in any stream or its equivalent holder from the recognised university. The age limit of the candidate may vary between 18-35 as on the last date of the application of online fee are eligible to apply for Karnataka PDO GPS jobs.  A competitive examination will be held to the applicantants which consists of two papers.

First paper covers all general subjects like General Knowledge, General Kannada and General English. Second paper consists of specific topics like Rural Development and Panchayat Raj. The last date of application submission is 15th October 2016 and the application fee may be paid on or before 18th October 2016.
