Poonam Kaur was born on 21st October 1986 in Hyderabad. She completed her schooling from Hyderabad Public School. Poonam did fashion designing from NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) Delhi. After her studies in 2006, she signed for Teja’s Film which didn’t work out. Beep Singh and Bharain Kaur were her parents. Poonam lost her father.
Career:
Poonam lost the chance for the film with Teja but he is the one who again gave her a chance in the Film Oka V Chitram.
But Oka V Chitram is not her first release; Poonam’s another movie Mayajalam released first.
She simultaneously played several supporting roles in Telugu Films like Nikki and Neeraj, Souryam, Ganesh Just Ganesh, Vinayakudu etc.
Poonam made her debut in Tamil with movie Nenjirukkum Varai and also in Kannada films with Bandhu Balaga.
She also worked along with legendary Kamal Hassan and Mohan Lal in which she played supporting roles.
