Kailash Kher Early life:

Kailash Kher was born on 7^th July 1973 in Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. He was grown up in a musical atmosphere from childhood, his father Mehar Singh was a musician. At his 4 his musical talent was out he used to impress his friends and neighbors with his powerful voice.

Later at the age 8 he left the home so as to find the guru or institute for his music training further.

He used to attend music classes and the teach the same what he has learnt to others at just 150/- per session which is necessary for his livelihood like food, education and his musical expenses.

He didn’t find a guru but he used learn music by hearing songs of singers like latamangeskar, Nusratfateh Ali khan, Pandit Kumar Gandharv, PanditBhimsen Joshi, PanditGokulotsavMaharaj and their contemporaries.

He has performed in many concerts and shows and also appeared in TV shows. He sung numerous numbers of songs in various languages and won many awards like Film fare etc.

Career:

In 1999 he started Indian Handicraft Export Business which brought huge losses with which his depression started he even attempted for suicide and then went to Singapore and Thailand for 6 months.

He moved to Mumbai in 2001, by that time he used to have some friends there, who introduced him to the music director Ram Sampath. At that time ram Sampath was in search of singer with unique voice to sing for Nakshatra Diamonds. Later he sung for number of Jingles for various commercials and radio. He sung for brands like Coco cola, Hero Honda, city bank, Pepsi and IPL.
He struggled a lot for offers in Bollywood, he got a chance to sing in the movie Andaaz and his song “Rabba Ishq Na Hove in this movie became very popular and another song Allah kebande from the movie WaisaBhiHota Hai was a huge hit and also made him as a star singer in Bollywood.
This brought him many opportunities and he sung many songs in Bollywood.
His unique s style of voice brought him more offers. He can sing in High pitch, low pitch, breathless, sharp etc. He sings Ghazels, Qawwalis and devotional songs in additional to the play back songs for films.

Non Film:

Apart from Movies he formed a band with brothers Paresh Kamath and Naresh Kamath in Mumbai. The band released first album in the year 2006 and later released their albums in 2007, 2009, 2012.
2016 brought a great return of Kailash Kher with his brand-new melodies, Ishq Anokha.
This album was produced by and distributed by SaReGaMaPa and hit the charts for weeks.
Ishq Anokha consists of eight fresh songs as ‘Ishq Anokha’, ‘O Jogi’, ‘Meharbani Teri’, ‘Berukhiyaan’, ‘VaariVaari’, ‘Guru Ghantal’, ‘TuriyaTuriya’ and an electro version of the track ‘VaariVaari’.
The album Ishq Anokha had to be launched thrice, in 3 different metropolitan cities, Kolkatha, Delhi and Mumbai.
Kailash kher and his band gave nearly 1000 concerts across the globe.
He also appeared in various Television shows like Sa re ga ma pa lil champs, Indian Idol etc.

Personal life:

Kailash kher married SheetalBhan, she was a film student in 2009 Feb 14^th. The couple had a son kabir.
