Mika Singh is born as Amrik Singh. His father is a musician in old school and his mother also has awareness on Folk music. He is the youngest of all 6 Mehndi brothers. Daler mehndi is the eldest of all. Mika started learning music from his childhood.
At the age of 8 he started playing Tabla. He started playing harmonium when he was 12 and guitar when he was 14. His career evolved from kirtan singer to bhangra/pop artist
Career:
He released his debut album Sawan Mein Lag Gayee Aag in 1998, at the age of 21.
Since then Mika had given several hit albums like Ishq Brandy, Something Something, Gabru, and Dunali.
He also acted as a Judge, team captain and team mentor for STAR Plus’s Music Ka Maha Muqqabla for the team Mika’s Blasters. He has completed the film titled “Mitti” & composed the music of movie.
Mika Singh is also known for his performances in live concerts in which huge crowd gather, even 60,000 people once.
He has huge fans for his unique voice and style.
