Nitya Menon Early Life:

Nithya Menon was born in Bangalore, Karnataka on 8 April 1988. Nitya did her   graduation in Journalism at the Manipal Institute of Communication. Nitya never wanted to be an actor, but she was interested in journalist profession. Later she decided to be a film-maker and joined a course in cinematography at the FTI Pune. During her entrance exam she met director Nandini Reddy, who gave Nitya an offer and which turned Nitya as a successful actress.

Career:

• Nitya Menen made her debut as a child artist when she was ten in the Indian English language film, The Monkey Who Knew Too Much (1998), playing the younger sister to Tabu’s character.
• In 2006 she started her career as a lead actress with Kannada film 7’0 Clock.
• In 2008 she made her Malayalam debut with Mohanlal in the movie AakashaGopuram
• Her first film in Telugu was Ala Modhalaindi directed by Nandini Reddy. This movie earned her 3 awards.
• Later she appeared in 180 with Siddarth and priyaanandh
• In 2012 her release IShq was released, it was a romantic hit.
• She later worked with nitin again in Gundejaarigallantainde, Again a romantic hit.
• In 2015, Nitya was starred in historical movie Rudrama Devi.
• She also did a movie Nani “Sega”.
• Her 2016 films are 24, Rajadhi Raja, OkkaAmmayiThappa, Janata Garage, IruMugan (Tamil) and Ghatana
