Suriya Siva Kumar Profile: Suriya Shiva Kumar well known as Suriya or Surya was born in 1975 to Tamil film actor Siva Kumar and his wife Lakshmi as Saravanan. Suriya has two younger siblings, brother Karthi (actor) and sister Brindha. Suriya did schooling at Padma Seshadri BalaBhavan Schooland St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School in Chennai. Surya made his acting debut with the movie, NerrukkuNer (1997) with Vijay this was a big hit.
But his next films didn’t succeed.
Director Bala’sNandha, was his first solo hit and Surya won his first Filmfare award for best actor for this movie.
He next came with UnnaiNinathu, which brought good collections.
Followed by MounamPesiyadhe, Surya’s second blockbuster was KaakhaKaakha. This movie made him star overnight. This also gave him a chance for his realtion with Jyothika.
